I'm on ps3, it hasn't frozen but 3 or 4 times the entire time I have been playing, and I'm at lvl 27 with a save file over 8M
Windhelm was the first area I visited after the initial sequence. Surprised you guys didn't also. So that was my first house. I also have one in Solitude, in Riften, in Markarth. Also, for you guys dealing with weight issues, here are some tips. - Obviously don't pick up everything. Keep it to a certain weight to gold ratio. If you making a bunch of potions, sell the cheap ones first. They all weight .5 lbs so sell the cheap ones so you don't have 30 lbs of potions that are worth 10 gold. - You can't fast travel when you're weighed down... unless you have a horse. Get on your horse and then fast travel. Once you get to the the town where you have a house, use Whirlwind Sprint to help you get there faster and then unload your stuff. - The number one thing I do is give all my crap to Lydia, my companion. What's that? She also has a limit to what she can hold, you say? While that's true, you can just drop a bunch of stuff on the ground then talk to her. Ask her to do something. Then hover over the item you dropped and click. Now she'll pick it up. Even over her weight limit.
I had read that somewhere else, but when I tried to have her pick something off of the ground and she was over her weight limit she still wouldn't do it. She said she couldn't or something like that.
She will say that if you click on a body. She won't take stuff out of boxes or bodies but will from the ground for sure. Not sure why you were not able to.
Hit ` key and type: player.modav carryweight # "#"=weight you want to add on You people are taking this game to damn serious.
Just got to Riften. I take it that the Spoiler stall owner who wants me to set up someone else will kick off the Thieves Guild quest line? What exactly are my options here? Spoiler Everyone in town seems to think they are lowdown dirty douchebags, and to be honest I'd much rather go scorched earth and clean out the corruption the town seems to have from top to bottom. BUT, if it's possible there are just a few bad apples in the Guild I've heard you get some cool missions/items from it so I may want to go ahead and join. I'm not really a stealth character though so it may be a big waste of time. Those of you who've done those quests, did you think they were worth it?
So you chastise the game for having exploits... Of course I wouldn't expect you to be able to actively problem solve and use critical thinking to prevent being over encumbered.
Don't think my computer can handle this, but I need to fill out my christmas list. Is the Ps3 version worth getting? I'm not much of an RPG guy, but everyone seems to be raving about this game.
Spoiler pretty fun quest line, you get the best looking armor in the game when you complete it / becoming a nightingale.
^^Hey RedRedVagina. What's the matter? Did someone outsmart you and figure out a way to carry all the items instead of being an idiot like you? Feel free to act r****ded and play it like a real sissy(idiot like you probably cheating like hell) and I'm pretty sure people will have more fun without feeling guilty of the consequence of using it so STFU troll. You wish your small penis "encumbered".
Yep Spoiler I have been sporting the Nightingale armor for about ten hours. I could careless for armor stats, only playing the game on adept.
Weird. If I recall correctly, the first area after the initial dragon attack/UI training the game gives you was to go to Riverwood. Then a guy there gives a quest that says to go to Whiterun. Whiterun's almost immediately north of Riverwood, too. I wonder what the sequence was that sent you to Windhelm?
I never play RPG games. I think the last RPG game I played was Fable on Xbox I dont know how long ago. I usually stick to games like madden, nba 2k, Gran turismo etc. and I have to say this is probably one of the best games I've played. It's definitely worth getting, but it will consume a lot of your time lol
The reqs for the game aren't high at all. A decent video card would help a ton. Here is a super cheap video card that should have no problem on high settings. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...a-_-na&AID=10440897&PID=3332167&SID=u00000687
Btw, if I understand correctly the last patch screwed up magic resistance, so if magic users have been lighting you up lately, that is why. I don't know if this is across all platforms. Supposed to be a new patch soon.
