yes you take that layup in that position, but he ****ing missed it. good thing he had that play to hustle and pass to troy for the game winner to make up for it.

pretty much the same play as mathews got a dunk in the last minute in game 2

I think that was the right play. Go for the points. Make it a five point game, and two possessions.

It was just a failure in execution.

Glad it did not bite us in the ass.

Lin is clueless out in the court.

It was the right play, he just missed.

Of course he did score 4 in OT and make one crucial hustle play... if I wasn't such a conspiracy theorist I would think he did it on purpose to get on ESPN highlights!

How about the game saving/series saving play by Lin? And how about all the other tough plays he made? He was the fearless tonight. His effort helped push them to victory.

You take the open layup if you have it, but if you aren't 100% sure that you will make the layup, then you hold the ball.

My problem was that it wasn't really that open. Open enough that he should make 8 times out of 10, sure. But he had a really tall dude chasing him down.

I think you dribble hard and then back out.

Hello! I made the thread RIGHT WHEN he did it! It's not like these things didn't happen! Lol.

Good pass to Troy! Thank God he's smart enough to not take the shot himself

For someone who has so much rep and years on the BBS, you are clueless about the concept of GAME THREADS.

Ironic because if it wasnt for lin and his quickness and agility, we would have lost too, No way harden or anyother player could of made that pass

Lin needed to dunk that, he misses way too many layups, usually because of how fast he's going.

How about waiting a bit before posting a thread like this. A lot of negativity on this board. It's hard to feel good about the win with all these debbie downers crapping on our players.

Lin made some important plays and the Rockets needed them, but you gotta stop with this biz about him making "the game saving play". Harden lost the ball, then Harden jumped on the floor to pop the ball out, Lin picked it up and passed it to Daniels, who then hit a tough ass shot. Lin is part of the play, but not even the most important part. He deserves credit, but you're acting like he stole the ball from someone, passed it to himself, and then hit a crazy shot.

I agree, that is a 99% shot, you take it, it was a freak thing that he missed it.

the people that don't like him don't want to hear that. it's disgusting that idiots were cheering when he was fouled by Lma. Every play, every possession is important and he came through in O.T, daniels and bev with that immense rebound to grasp it with his metal claw.
