    They're called "potential rain-delay strike zone" calls.

    The umps want to get as much of this game in as they can before they have to take breaks and bring the tarp on the field (there is more rain coming for later tonight)... Pettite got some borderline calls in the 1st inning as well.

    What's up with ESPN radio.. When the Stros were up at bat they just weren't even talking about the game. Then I hear a groan when Taveras reaches third, and then scores. Now they're all excited about the Sox again. Bastards. I want to hear them cry.

    No Way. Tim Raines used to be a terror at the plate and could hit for power. Something Vince never could do.

    i thought that this was going to be a good series between two respectable teams. i am beginning to change my mind. the sox are giving some really good despise their cocky attitude.
