That is FRICKEN pathetic....no one hits behind the runners, no one tries to go the other way.

Berkman and Ensberg are NOT DOING THEIR FRICKEN JOBS !!!!!!!!!!

    Ugh.

Got to get up on these guys.....to get some confidence.....

Why can't our guys go the opposite way?

We won't win in STL if we keep killing rallies like this. The Astros batters are really making it tough on themselves.

Wow ... Berkman and Ensberg with complete and total failure. If those guys continue to do that, the Stros have very little chance at all.

Tip your hat to Edmonds.... that was a pretty good piece of hitting on a outside corner fastball, after seeing 3 curveballs in the AB.

Lane robbed Eckstein there, but look where he hit the ball. Took it where it was pitched.

    Edmonds, hit the opposite way.

I'm sure guys like Berkman and Ensberg talk about how great it would be to play in a World Series, but if they are not smart enough to hit the ball where it's pitched, while Cardinal hitters do, they don't deserve to win. They need to wake up.

I pitch around Walker here... I don't care what Sanders has done.

There's a reason TLR has him batting in-front of the 2005 version of Beltran tonight... its because Larry owns Roy this year.

Larry is also hurt ... so much so that he wouldnt have played if the game was on Monday.

I pitch to him with Reggie on deck.

    You may be right though.

He's been hurt all year... he was just one day off the DL when he took Oswalt deep for a 3 run shot back after the ASB.

I just don't like the matchup.

Id rather pitch to Larry, then face Sanders with two men on.

Rather have Sanders up to start the next inning.

Well, Roy's going after him... if he walks him its because he missed his pitch, not because he was pitching around him.

Yeah I see what you are saying and it looked like Roy was being careful with him so they might have been thinking along the same lines as you.

No... I actually think they were trying to avoid this situation, but Roy just missed on his pitches to Walker.

I hope Roy knows what he's doing... Reggie can hit the fastball.
