Lane robbed Eckstein there, but look where he hit the ball. Took it where it was pitched. Edmonds, hit the opposite way. I'm sure guys like Berkman and Ensberg talk about how great it would be to play in a World Series, but if they are not smart enough to hit the ball where it's pitched, while Cardinal hitters do, they don't deserve to win. I pitch around Walker here... I don't care what Sanders has done. There's a reason TLR has him batting in-front of the 2005 version of Beltran tonight... its because Larry owns Roy this year.
Larry is also hurt ... so much so that he wouldnt have played if the game was on Monday. I pitch to him with Reggie on deck. You may be right though.
