There has got to be somebody in major league baseball that can play shortstop and hit better then Everett. I'm have visions of the weak hitting Metzger from my childhood.

Hats off to the Sox. They are the better team. I wonder if the Astros have enough heart to at least win one World Series game?

If the astros didn't choke so much it would be easier to take this loss. Heck all the series we won we hit horribly with guys in scoring position. Despite the outcome of this series this has been a great season.

If we get back to Chicago. I think we win it. The team will be mega rejuvenated, wet, and cold.

I'm not going to say anything ridiculous like fire Phil Garner. But the moment I'll go to for years if we don't win this series is not using Palmeiro as a pinch-hitter in the bottom of the 9th. Fast runner on third, one out... all you needed was a fly ball. Even a slow ground ball. All you needed was contact, and the game is almost assuredly over. One of the best contact hitters in the game is on the bench, available, and at the plate is a strikeout-prone hitter without a lot of power to get a fly ball deep enough.

    Why, why, why...

I'm surprised we made it this far.

We were aweful in the Cardinals series, and yet we won that.

Atleast we got our first NL CHamps Penn.

If we get back to Chicago, we're a team of destiny. That will mean we'll have lost with Pettitte and Oswalt on the mound and won with Backe and Wandy on the mound. Tjat would be insane. (In a good way)

Couldn't said it better. As i said sunday night, they are not the better team, it's not that Sox deserve it, it's that Astros don't deserve it.

If the White Sox win the series, a pretty certain if at this point, the only fans who'll feel worse the the Astros fans are the Cubs fans.
