When's the last time the Astros actually hit a ball hard. I think it really might be the Jason Lane double. I can't even remember fly ball outs to the outfield!
I think our hitters have terrible strike zone judgment. Especially some of our younger players, which is frightening. Everett, Burke, Taveras, and Lane seemingly have no conception of the strike zone. Ensberg's is erratic. IMHO, this might be an unfortunate indicator that the organization doesn't emphasize one of the most important parts of the game.
