And then if he gives up another run to Podednick in the next inning (which would be his 3rd... a lot for any reliever)... all the second guessing comes out again.

This is why baseball is the best... and the worst.

NO, don't send the runner UNTIL he makes contact....a bit of a delayed squeeze.

NO because Bidge would've moved to 2nd and we still would've had a runner in scoring position. You gotta have Taveras bunt in that situation. He's the best bunter in baseball why have him swing away.

Oh my god... Luis Vizcaino... we used to OWN him when he was with the Brewers.

    Advantage Astros.

Palmero (knocks head) why didn't Garner pinch hit for Willy with Palmero?

He usually goes for the win....why didn't he do it there?

That way you have 2 lefties up there with a chance to win....Palmero and Berkman....

    I don't get it.

That fool is a trainer? I've seen small cars that weigh less than him.

Agree (I wouldn't have said bad decision though) but I still thought they were going to bunt and was hoping for it. I just didn't want him to hit into a double play.

yeah but its not his call. Garner is the one who makes the decision. As much as I try not to doubt Garner I got no idea what he's thinking/.
