Different pitcher...you have to recognize the pattern...in that game the pitcher was throwing balls early and we were reaching, in this game, we are patient, but too much so....

Someone should be charting those in the Stros dugout and recognize....

In fact, the Whitesox are making Roy throw strikes, and he is just struggling to do it.

Actually, I think everyone believes, but some just get frustrated, I am a bi-polar type of fan...I want to believe, but sometimes frustration gets the best of me.

Do I think the Astros can come back tonight and win....HELL YES !!

Do I think they are going to do it....well......I hope so..

    :)

Roy pitched us into the Series for the first time ever... I'm not even going to start to think about his game tonight as any sort of "failure" or "catastrophic turn of events to his career".

Roy is a big boy. He doesn't need to be bailed out. He got out of the inning and got through the six.

Tell me with a straight face that you wouldn't have had a problem with Garner brining Springer in during the 5th if he had had the same results as Roy ....you guys would be all over Garner if that had happened.

must be nice when someone plays both sides of the fence, so they are always right no matter what the result is

The next time Pierczinsky steps out of the box he needs to get pegged. He does that crap everytime. I remember Clemens used to peg guys for doing that crap earlier in his career.

The difference between NY fans and Houston fans...we give a standing O to our ace despite a bad night. Though I don't think you can fault Oswalt too much.

You mean Mets fans. I've seen the Yankee fans do right by their guys.

St. Louis fans gave a standing O to Mulder after he left game 6... and he was worse... and they're supposedly the most knowledgable in baseball.

I have a feeling that standing O was a semi-thank you for him getting us to the World Series... the fans haven't gotten to see him in a game here since.

There's never a good time to bring in Springer. Bring in Wandy, Qualls, Wheeler,or Zeke before you bring in Springer. He will allow the other team to score which the Stros can't afford right now.
