In the end, questionable plays end up being ruled errors at the discretion of the official scorer. In that case, the official scorer decided that biggio was more likely not to catch that ball than he was as he was attempting an over the shoulder catch in the rain.
They are just a team of good hitters... they foul off pitch after pitch and take those borderline pitches that 90% of other teams will swing at. We're through the 6th now with Roy still in the game and only down by 1 run, not the end of the world. Roy had a fairly easy 6th to boot and is only at about 112 pitches.
NOW IS THE TIME NOW !!!! I want to be up 6-5 going into the 9th and I want to see Brad Lidge bringing it to the mound. DD

They're anything but. This Astros team has played their hearts out this entire series. But for whatever damn reason, they ran into a Sox team that has literally every single break going for them right now.
I think the Astros need a inning and a half to get over being "stunned" by that White Sox 5th inning. That scoreless 6th by Roy helped a little... and now they have to get that inning, and the fact that the roof is open, and the fact that everybody is rooting against them, and the fact that Ozzie Guillen is crazy and Carl Everett has roid rage, all out of their heads.
some people's default response is "i believe!!!" mine is "oh God we're screwed" or "game over." i just don't see why the optimists seem to get so offended at someone "giving up" as if we're not all just mostly posting on emotion here. i mean i'm still watching and not playing ncaa 2k6 right now so i must somewhat believe, but i'm pretty sure we'll lose and i don't see why posting it is a problem for some.
