I still say we win 2 of 3 and take game 6 behind Roy O in St. Louis to clinch.

But, this game is HUGE !!

Got to support Roger with some knocks and some paystation payouts.

Can't wait for the game today - first NLCS game I've ever been to.

Rocketman will shut them down! 4-0. :D

    WIN!

Backe might pitch better in game 4 knowing that we are one game up.

Wow I was hoping for this lineup, good move by Garner. We need all the bats we can get.

I like the lineup, offensively. I just hope Burke fares well in center. I do like the idea of riding the hot hand.

damn good choice I think as well

granted burke doesn't have taveras-like speed

but speed enough to swipe a bag or two if he can get on

and certainly glad to still see lane in there

Burke has become a legend in less then 10 ab. This is madness. but hey, if he believes it then it might be a self fulfilling prophecy. I always thought Brett Farve made the same kind of leap. Suddenly he just thought he was good. Then he was. It's all in the head.

I'm less worried about Burke in center than I am Lance in LF on a bum knee. With that combination we have to hope for not too many gappers between left and center. Chris won't be able to speed over and save Lance like Willy did against Atlanta. Offensively, it looks a lot better to me however.

So will we see a Killer B Past/Present/Future moment if we pinch hit for the pitcher sometime late int he game?

Bagwell/Biggio/Burke/Berkman All in a row. Except Willy would probably pinchrun for Bags.

As much as I hate to be pessimistic, I do not agree. Being up 2-1 on the Cards is hardly a safe lead. I say that if we win today and tomorrow, the series is ours.

That's just great. I would rather see him as a Yankee.
