Jones with a ho hum game. 16 points in 22 minutes on 6-15 shooting (2-6 from 3). 4 boards and 4 assists as well, and an impressive 6 blocks.

I'm curious as to why he doesn't get a few more minutes. He's clearly the best talent on the roster, and it seems like he'll be with them through the playoffs, so there's not a question of continuity. Oh well.

I didn't watch this game, but I may later. I noticed in the last game, Jones showed some difficulty against Sioux Falls' Jarvis Varnado. Looks like Varnado went off for 29 pts, 13 rebs and 4 blks in this game. Was Jones guarding him? Varnado played for the Heat for a while, I think. The guy is something like 6'9" with a 7'4" wingspan.

He was a guy some people wanted with the Rockets late first a few years back. I think he was a high 2nd rounder. He was a shot blocker extraordinaire in college, and multi time conference defensive player of the year, but he was also offensively challenged. Giving up 29 points to him is definitely not a good thing. He was a 5 from what I recall, so I'd assume Jones would not be guarding him?

I think Jones had a very good game considering he had 6 blocks... Shows he is active protecting the rim which is something the Rockets lack.

Don't sleep on this kid Morey.
