    Wow close game. I didn't watch but looked at the box score, looks like TJones had a poor outing. His stats aren't too shabby for 26 minutes but his +/- is -20 so maybe he got pulled for making defensive mistakes or something.

    More impressive play from Tim Ohlbrecht.

    I watched some of the game. I'm not sure why TJones was benched. TJones was pulled half way into the third and I don't think he played the rest of the game. Macklin got a lot of minutes and played pretty well. The Vipers definitely played better with TJones out of the game.

    Hassan Whiteside is a better paint defender than every player on the Rockets roster save Omer Asik. He's far and away the best big man paint defender in RGV. Didn't get off the bench today. (Is anybody else suspicious here?)
