No takers for the extra tickets? Come on, 12 bucks and you get to chillax with some CF's. ...That's fun, right?

but where there are laws governing speed limits only in the disproportionately small number of municipal garages???

the nationals aren't better than the 'stros. your eyes didn't deceive you when the astros were better than them last season. nothing has changed in that regard.

WLWW...The Nationals are good, but after the Nationals got hit by about 100 pitches last night, we're in good position...

This is a big game? ;)

Good to see the rope up the middle by AE; he & Gaetti have been working on him going back to a more up-the-middle & op-field approach, opposed to the dead-pull hitter he morphed into over the past 2 years.

Great baserunning by AE there...tight turns at 2nd & 3rd.

Well, its bigger than Spring Training... :D

edit: I guess we're speaking too soon... the Nats may start the bombs with the 2nd time thru the order.

Backe's going crazy with the glove tonight...9 putouts/assists out of 16 outs.

Maybe they hung a calendar in Backe's locker where every month says October.

My lasting image of this game is the effortless Willy grab on the Hill in the 9th inning. He made it look easy. Forget about the lack of power, or the work in progress patience wise, that is his value to this team. He saved two runs on that play alone. That is the difference between having a guy like Biggio or Berkman in center and a guy like Taveras, and the impact it has on the pitching staff. He has the ability to be a gold glove centerfielder in his career.

In fact, within the first 4 games of the year, you have also seen why I constantly say AE is a gold glove caliber shortstop. No way Chris Burke makes that play to save the game wednesday night, or turns the DP vs the Cards in the playoffs.
