    When we play the Giants ya'll pay attention to their PA announcer. The woman they had doing the announcing last year was the absolute worst PA announcer imaginable.

    It really makes me appreciate the excellent "Voice Of God" that we have in MMP.

    if it's the same woman, she's been their pa announcer for years. even when they were at candlestick, i believe.

    will be interesting to see if he's octavio dotel, or not. dotel was amazing as a starter through the first three innings...then fell off as his velocity trailed. i'm hoping he can keep pitching at around 93-94 for 6 or 7 innings.

    That and he really only had 2 pitches. You can't go seven innings 30 times a year with just 2 pitches.

    I loved him in the 8th inning. I'd take him back in a heartbeat--for the 7th or 8th inning.

    I also LOVE him for landing us half a season of Beltran (along with Buck). I will always love OD for that. :D

    my older son was 5 when we made that trade. i had to convince him it was a good thing, because he loved dotel and the song he came out to! :)
