Yes, let's underestimate one of the best team defenses in the past 10 years. These are the teams that Miami will have to beat to get a ring. Miami has no size, Miami has no team play, I don't care if Lebron and Wade combine for 60, it doesn't mean the rest of the team can pick up that slack. It is apparent, without LeBron, this team is Miami of years past. Without Wade, this is Cavs 2.0. Taking two good teams and pushing them together doesn't make a great team.
Did James make Wade shoot that off the top of the backboard? Some of you guys are ridiculous, he's just having a crappy game. LeBron isn't going to turn Wade into a scrub.
Speaking of that, I know he has a great outside shooting percentage, but his form looks awkward as hell from what I've seen.
Don't let that fool you. James Jones will help the Heat big time if he stays healthy (which is a HUGE question mark).
Miami is not going to be really good until they get Mike Miller in the lineup. Once he is back, he will open the floor up for everyone and Miami offense will look much much better.
I can't but help mentioning him. He will be available in the playoffs. Which is when it actually really matters.
miami was w/in 5 points until they put wade back in when he is in scrub mode. i'm sure miami isn't going to sweat this game. if people think wade is going to suck like a scrub, think again. and i repeat: these turnovers are unforced TOs and can easily be fixed w/ practice, which the big 3 haven't had together
No, they will be very good. They are playing a top-3 team in the NBA, probably the best defensive team, on the road, with a limited training camp and an entirely new roster. If they are going to lose some games, this is one of them.
After all these years, I finally get to watch LBJ as an NBA fan and no longer as a Cavs fan. Tonight he still shows he's the best and most exciting player to watch IMHO. I'd like to see him and Big Z win a ring at least once for what they've done in Cleveland, but I don't find myself actively rooting for the Heat. More like at the end of the season, if they win it, I'll look back and say 'good for them.' Anyways, it's the first real NBA game for these guys to play together. People complaining about how they don't look comfortable with each other, or that Wade and Bosh will be relegated to mediocre players is just dumb. It's the first game for goodness sake. And whether they win or lose by 20 tonight will probably have little to do with how they look 40 games from now.
