If the officials keep letting LeBron walk and foul his way to the basket you might be right.

We have already seen an all Lebron team. It doesn't work.

the fact is with Wade and Bosh, Lebron has to decrease his game to get them involved.

Yes...definitely one of the reasons. Steve Kerr was one of the best 3 point shooters, of all time.

The Bulls didn't have inside play but they had excellent 3 point shooters.

You have to have one or the other...3 point shooters or inside play. No Championship team is missing both.

Actually, Wade, Lebron, & Bosh were awesome together in the Olympics (which is the only time we can really judge them since they've played like 10min together otherwise). Wade & Bosh are just having bad games against probably the best D in the NBA. I think their career numbers give a slightly more compelling case that they'll be fine than one half of mediocrity.

And despite all of this, this is still anyone's ballgame. If the Heat can play this bad and stay competitive with a contender, then they have to be the favorites for sure.

    I didn't even mention Mike Miller. ;)

See, Wade and James don't have to be on the floor at the same time, all the time.

You don't need all that many 3 point pure shooters on the floor. James and Wade had all the defensive attention on their for the old teams and they shot respectable percentages.

3 point is not the achilles heal for the heat, james/wade/bosh are more than capable as shooters. its not as if we are talking about a bunch of ish smiths here. James if left open can drill 3 point shots as good as than anyone in the league

he's in shape; he's just rusty. but it's still james' team. james is just that good. but when wade is back to his old self, you have 2 guys who can take over games and that will let bosh be on the side and he'll dominate that role.

like i said, this team will be scary 2-3 months from now. right now, it's like a baby in its infancy.

exactly. it won't work in the playoffs, but those guys will get better as the season progresses.

but during the season, you'll have games where you need your best player to take over and lebron is doing that

Miami should trade Wade for a good center and a good PG.

This Miami team has just as good 3point shooting as any of Jordan's teams. Kerr averaged like 8ppg for those teams. He's Mike Miller or James Jones or Eddie House, nothing more.

Mike Miller is out until January. You shouldn't mention him.

If Lebron's shooting 3's; he's helping out the other team.

Teams want James and Wade to shoot as many 3's as he can rather have him attack the basket.

I can only go by what I've seen, since these guys haven't played together outside of the Olympics. My opinion is they'll be fine. They are playing like shyte now and this game is close.

    Truth posted above.

LeBron and Wade will figure it out. When they do, Uh Oh for the rest of the NBA.

Actually tonight's real problem is Wade has nothing to offer because of the time off. Never seen him play so badly.

Celts probably win since they should be able to execute better in the 4th quarter when things tighten up. They are showing a lot of crispness considering this is opening night.
