guess i was just pointing out that it goes both ways. espn talking heads hyping them up as champs, while haters are going to tear them down. nothing new. i just find it funny you're getting so defensive with the haters, its going to be like this all season, might wanna ease up a bit.
Then don't contradict yourself. I doubt anybody disagreed with you if you said these guys will do fine, but I would expect hundreds of people to disagree with you if you think they will struggle. Winning 50+ games nowadays is a pretty successful season, if you haven't realized already. Winning 50+ games is the definition of doing fine, but in no way the definition of "struggling".
So glad NBA season is finally here. Miami just needs more time to build chemistry with each other... Side note... Lebron pick it up, I have you on my fantasy team!!!
He will make a difference, but he will not help their lack of low post presence, their complete inability to make post entry passes, rebounding spacing, Lebron not hitting free throws, etc. There are a lot of problems with this team
It seems the people saying the Heat will be better come mid season are also implying the other teams in the East will stay the same or regress. Boston has been looking a bit rusty too. They have been throwing the ball away left and right. Will the Heat be that much better than the Celtics when they start to gel and Miller comes back if the Celtics also continue to get better?
they'll win 60 games because there's 28 other teams whose penetration defense isn't as good as the celtics, the celtics have probably missed as many if not more wide open 3's, and layups. Lebron is the king of the regular season, but unless miller can find form even with missing so much ball, with no interior threat, the post season will elude them unless they can get some perimeter threats. You're not going to win a title with 3 midrange players
Do you guys remember Morey's prediction? He said the heat would win less than 45 games. A genius!
the learning curve for the heat is much higher; boston's main parts are the same. obviously the better teams will all improve, but you're talking about a brand new team here w/ the heat. and this is the first game the heat played a full game with their best 3 players, and they are not even at full strength.
That's what was reported, but nothing he's actually said in the press would suggest that he has doubts about Miami.
Not going to happen until they get some 3 point shooters in or get a real big man (not a softie like Bosh)
