Garuba's 3-point shot looks much in proved. At the start of the season it looked like straight toilet water..

Overreaction maybe, but I don’t care. Say what you want about veteran presence, playing the right way, mentoring, blah blah blah. We are 1-16 with no end to the losing in sight so why exactly are we holding on to and playing lesser players? What are the kids even learning from them? How to lose every game?

Trade Theis and trade Wood. Both were expendable fringe rotation players before they came here and now they’re invaluable starters? Your big man rotation needs to consist of Sengun and Garuba. That’s it! Period! Start Sengun with Garuba off the bench. No more double big lineups to start the game. Maybe see if they can play together on spot minutes since both are high IQ players and seasoned from playing overseas. Third big is out of the rotation and can be either a vet looking for work or a project. Wood and Theis are not it. 1-16 speaks for itself. We have nothing to lose. Develop the core.

    Garuba ALREADY better than Theis.

    Especially on defense.

    And definitely more CLUTCH.

Now THIS is how you dominate against grown ass NBA scrubs.

Abdelfattah is coaching circles around Silas.

We got good coaches in RGV. Nick Nurse, Chris Finch, and now Abdelfattah

These Garuba highlights were much needed. How long do you all think it'll be until JayGup joins him?

Hopefully soon if we aren't going to play him any meaningful minutes in the NBA

Garuba actually got some other highlights that weren't in the video because they didn't count as assists. He was bringing up the ball hitting open shooters.

Looks like Garuba would have gone #1 if he played for G-League Ignite...

Nothing to worry about man, Sengun and Garuba have convinced far more stubborn people than Silas that they can earn a place with the big boys. They've done it since they were in their early teens against the biggest baddest non NBA players in the world probably. Alpi and Garuba already behave like veterans, it's really great, you can just see that they are going to respect each other's insane intensity to win at any cost. That's in the DNA, they will be fine. Just a matter of a couple months here and there, when we look back in 3 years and they're both ballin' we'll laugh at the idea that it matters so much.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. The obedient ones become role players. If someone is going to be a star, they won't necessarily react well when assigned to G league but they just dominate somehow anyway. He's annoyed, the kid has big dreams, clear on first game body language. But he'll be in the rotation before the end of the season guaranteed and his 3pt shot will look way more polished.
