Having never done it, I had no idea how to watch G League games and didn't see a direct streaming option when looking yet.

 

21 points in 5 minutes! G-League is no D-League.

 

Mitchell sucks.

 

Mexico is surprisingly good at ball movement directed at defensive mismatches.

 

You know, these teams are poorly coached from the G-League up. Watching RGV live, it's the same garbage we are seeing from Silas. Random ball movement and hero ball. I'd like to see a full coaching philosophy shift after this next draft.

 

Need to see more of him but Garuba doesn't seem consistently aggressive so far. He just made some good plays but I hope I'm wrong and he has a solid motor.

Destiny Garuba looks like he bored out there. He ready to come up to the varsity.

He has to remember he's a rookie in the NBA and needs to prove himself each game.

Nothing will be handed to you based on your past, gotta take it consistently.

 

I am also seeing where the defensive problems are coming up for both RGV and NBA team. They are so focused on M2M that they easily get caught at not protecting the paint and give up easy lanes to the basket. You can see the sloppiness of the coaching when you compare both clubs and see where these bad habits start. I will be happy when we get a pure X's and O's coach in to teach these young bloods a system similar to the Warriors and Bulls. Good coaching really is a difference maker.

 

Garuba also does NOT play well with teammates. He is often fighting his own teammates for a rebound and not moving the ball to the PG. He is very raw and needs to spend the entire season in the G.

 

I didn’t watch this game but he has to be upset that he is even a Rocket by now. Him even being down there is a travesty. The Rockets are playing developmental basketball holding out the highest paid player won 1 game so far; yet he is down in the valley. I would be like this organization/coaching staff is so Silas like. If they don’t like me PLEASE trade me.

 

He isn't ready to be on the worst team in the NBA. That should tell you something about him as a player.

 

He had a good stat line for his first game, I'm on his side to grow. I hope he takes this time to improve his handle, three point shooting and overall offensive game.

Play hard every possession and build consistent skills, I really hope he's not an entitled rookie.

Many NBA players developed in the G league, be humble and work on your game.

 

well he must have learned that here ...perhaps john wall taught him? i dont think he did that in Real Madrid or on Spain national team
