    I'm freakin' out!!

That was my last post in yesterday's game thread and I'm still freakin' out!!
Freaked out, but I also still have faith. I'm just going to need some serious numbing of the senses to make it through Wednesday's game. Please, end this tomorrow and beat the ****in' Cards!

    However...

    1) We are a lot more like the Boston Red Sox than the Cardinals are.
    2) The better team won that series.

I agree. Like last year against Atlanta in game five, it is time for the bats to come up big. Knock ole Mulder all the way back to Oakland.

Just like the Rockets coming back w/ the Kiss of Death against Phoenix, the Astros are going to end this sucka and beat the White Sox in the World Series.

Man talking about last night , that was ugly, pretty bad feeling . I was prepared to press the Submit replay button to send my replay celebration when the pest was batting. Then came Edmonds to bats and i was prepared with the same emotion too. Lidge walked Edmonds and i still had the hope, but so scared man... When Pujols hit the hr my mouse arrow was pointing to the submit replay. What a heartbreaker man, this strange feeling is still there. I was celebrating like all the goodS boys in the dugout, then the next thing i saw is the ball flying out of MMP. I love this team and always will, but I'M SORRY GUYS I dont know if they can recover from this.

    Anyways, Go Astros!

That crap about the Astros celebrating before the game was over was BS. If anyone celebrated early, then it was FOX when they splashed the schedule for an Astros-Chicago WS Game One when the game was still not over. The Astros were excited...sure. What were they supposed to be doing? Hanging their heads?

I feel like someone is alternately kicking me in the nuts, then in the stomach. I keep reminding myself that I predicted Stros' in 6 with Oswalt getting the NLCS MVP. It can still happen. It better happen for us tomorrow. I think Clemens is a physical wreck right now. He doesn't have the zip on the heater, the dip in the splitter, the location in either. 1K in the last outing. That's all you need to know. He's pitching on pure gut and balls. In game 7, that won't be enough.

ugh. i don't know if I can take this. I can't even eat my lunch today.

maybe it's nerves for the interview i have at 3, but i'm somewhat nauseous right now and i'm pretty sure last night is the actual reason. i'd be giddy even with the interview coming up if we had won.

    i ****ing hate this!

i'm not even sure i'll watch game 6. i watched every pitch last night and can't physically take that again. i'm going to have to give this game a good hour head start before i tune in. if things are going well, i'll probably just tune back out and let it continue and maybe tune in in another 30-45 minutes. if things are going badly, for some reason i'll probably keep watching and making myself suffer.

i got the dbacks to beat the yankees by not watching games 6 and 7 (even though i really wanted to), maybe it'll work again here.

    with apologies to David Rudder:

    For victory is certain
Certain as the sun shines in the sky
    Victory is certain
All true Astro loving fans in here said so
    A long time ago

I can't believe I went from giving the Cardinals the air pelvic thrust when Berkman homered, to getting kicked in the nuts minutes later. I'm a mess.

What Drama. I still believe that the astros can win it. Some of the media didn't believe that the Astros could win two out of three but look at us now. Yeah Brad Lidge messed up but I think he'll bounce back. Just like Morgan Ensberg said "We never do it the easy way". Go Astros!!!

Roy needs to be a red ass again, and we need to get to their bullpen again.

I have faith that Roy O is going to have a good game tomorrow. Roy has that attitude and swagger about him. What worries me is how the hitters are going to respond to the game from yesterday.
