    Nah, you just gotta treat it like its a regular game. If we are up 4 in the 9th, you bring out qualls or wheeler or even springer.

    Not neccesarily... bringing in Wheeler in this situation was standard operating procedure throughout the year (when it wasn't a save situation).

    Only Jimy Williams manages to throw his closers in tons of non-save situations... the "jimy-save".

    Lidge has done sooo much for us already, he deserves a little rest. We got a 4 run lead and so it's not a save situation. Let Wheeler try and get the job done...Lidge will still be there if they need him. And I don't think it'll hurt his confidence one bit nor show a vote of no confidence on the part of Garner.

    I really wish FOX would save the player of the game award for AFTER the game.

    Does anybody still think Lance was the player of the game for game 5??? (as Fox said, after the second out).

    yup lidge will have four save opp. in the world series, in the first four games, all will be finished nicely
