    Crap, they're going with Lidge, and I don't see why if Qualls barely pitched in that inning AND mowed down three in a row (the best three at that).

    Wheels is up.... its looking like it will be Wheeler now.

    Apparently the announcers have forgotten about how well "closers" throw in "non-save" situations (its not good). That, combined with what semi-confidence the Cards might have against Lidge, and I have no problem with seeing some Wheels here.

    lidge needs a good outing, let's get him out there... it's ok to keep him on a short leash, but he's got to go out there...

    lidge has been there all year, you can't lose your confidence in him on just one outing. I wonder if that means that coaching staff sees that he has lost confidence or something.
