If it weren't for him, there would be no lefty specialist, no set-up man, and no closer. (he pioneered those "specialist" bullpen roles as the A's manager).

In some ways, we were victims of his own system in game 5 (since in the old days, you'd never bring in a guy like Wheeler for just 2 batters)... but, I definitely am not turning against the system now.

 

I have a tendancy to never give ausmus respect, even after he hit the homer against the braves, i though, ok he wont get a hit for another year.... hahah, but i guess he shut me up tonight

 

I think we need to get just one more run... I hope Ensberg can do something with one of these pitches.

Ensberg has looked like utter poop this series. He cant decide how to stand in the batters box. Im not hoping for much from Morgan.
