If it weren't for him, there would be no lefty specialist, no set-up man, and no closer. (he pioneered those "specialist" bullpen roles as the A's manager). In some ways, we were victims of his own system in game 5 (since in the old days, you'd never bring in a guy like Wheeler for just 2 batters)... but, I definitely am not turning against the system now.

You mean playing shallow Center and diving for every other catch, which is normally an easy out for other fielders, doesn't make you a Gold Glover? Well, not a Legit one.
