[GAME] Rock Band

Yes. I've read that the upper levels of the singing campaign are quite difficult.

 

I agree. Guitar Hero has become obsolete. This game is incredible. Everything about it is perfection. The drums are kickass. The mic is kickass. The guitar is kickass. This game is kickass. Guitar Hero WAS a good game, but this blows it out of the water.

 

Did anyone have any issues getting the kick drum pedal to work? It's not sensing any of my foot presses no matter how far I press down or how hard I press down. The cable is fully plugged in. The weird thing is that whenever I pull the cable in and out of the jack, it detects that as a foot press.

I'm debating whether or not to try to just exchange the foot pedal at Walmart or exchange the whole thing for another one. Oh yeah this is for the 360 if that matters.

 

this is the definitely the greatest game ever made. anything that gets my girlfriend to touch a videogame must be. i LOVE, LOVE the drums and she loves the singing. the guitar parts are fine but i'll have to say i like the guitar hero guitar a bit better. maybe i'm just used to it.

as for failing on singing, she does level hard and particularly on a song she doesn't know, she'll fail out fairly quickly. it's a bit harder on drums then guitar to revive somebody when they get booed out so we've had to restart now and then.

looking forward to thanksgiving when we have plenty of people to cover all the instruments. that's going to be a blast.

haven't had any problems with the drum pedal, should probably just take the whole thing back tommyboy.

 

I played Band World Tour mode with 4 people yesterday.. OMG The tour mode is aaaammaaaazziinggg

Going city to city, making money and fans, jamming out with 3 other friends.. winning t-shirts from the cities you visit and vans and buses its a lot of fun

You even have the occasional band arguement (over what songs to play haha)

We had to of played for atleast 6 hours before we all parted ways.. Now Im sitting here with the bundle by myself, I tried solo tour but its not the same I wish World Tour Mode was single player aswell thats the only major flaw I have with the game so far

 

Is this impossible to find?? When I get off work will I have any luck walking into a Best Buy or Wal Mart and picking it up for the PS3?

 

I get so pissed off when I see Guitar Hero and Rock Band, knowing that they basically ripped off my companies idea....

GRRRRRRRR.

I am still going to play it though.

Dammit. Am I finally going to have to get a 360 for this? That's $400 PLUS the game. I'm f*cked.

 

make one of your friends get it and then come to his house and play it all day

 

I've already thought of that but none of my friends are into this kind of game.

When you sing online can other people hear you and vice versa, or do they just see your accuracy?

 

Ive read that the guitar that comes wih the game isn't very good at all and that it was recommended that you use a guitar from one of the Guitar Hero games. Those with the game, is this the case?

 

not in my opinion...I definitely prefer the RB guitar over the GH ones

but there are people on both sides of the fence on this

 

I think it is a piece of crap. I easily prefer the GH3 wireless over this thing. What also pisses me off is that you can't use the RB guitar on GH3.

I'm hoping to find another wireless GH3 guitar without having to buy the game as well but not much luck on a cursory look on the web.

 

Can you guys do drums on medium and hard? I'm nailing it on easy, but when they start throwing the foot pedal in more often it becomes very difficult for me.

 

Why do you keep saying that ?
