    My gf loves Maps

Since she gave me Rock Band for my birthday - I've been forced to listen and play that song about 50 times in the last 3 days.

I am very close to destroying my GPS in my car b/c I NEVER want to see a map again...

I actually like that song, and have fun singing that one. The one that I have the worst trouble with so far is that deep purple one with possibly the stupidest lyrics I've ever heard.

Train Kept a Rollin' was hard to at first.

the OK GO song, was only hard because I'd never heard it, or if I had I managed to erase it from my memory.

highway star is one of the songs I like to play and sing at the same time. Of course I was a big deep purple fan back in the day.

I do. Cant play it otherwise.

Been playing the Oasis pack all night. Everyone in the room (about 8 people) were singing Wonderwall at the same time. It was pretty cool.

Wow, I'm impressed you can do both at the same time. It's kind of a long song too. I don't think I could play guitar on easy and sing on easy on any song in the game and do it. I'm pretty bad at singing as it is.

I don't really have anything against Deep Purple, just the lyrics on that song.

the first song I had trouble with as a singer was Gimme Shelter until I realized that you could still register correct pitch if you were an octave off. I was getting so annoyed at myself. Then once I accidentally said something an octave down into the microphone and it matched pitch.

Beat it on Hard, on the last set on Expert, and I'm pretty much stuck there for a while. Closest song I've got so far is Highway Star (84% or so), although I came pretty close on the Iron Maiden song until the part right after the solo surprised me and I failed it. That last set's no joke on Expert. I'm not even trying Molly Hatchett of Green Grass and High Tides for a while. Dang hammer-ons get me every time.

As to the downloadable stuff, the Oasis songs are okay, and I 4* them all on my first playthrough on Expert. A little bit of work and I think I can get 5, although Wonderwall has some tricky chord changes. Interstate Love Song and Gimme Three Steps are still my favorite tracks so far though. By the way, if you want a challenge try Last Train to Clarksville on Expert. I had no idea the friggin' Monkees could be that difficult.

I sing on expert and get in the 90%+ range on every song. But last night I completely and utterly failed on Number of The Beast by Iron Maiden on expert. Song is friggin' impossible to sing...

First Rock Band casualty...the tip of my drumstick went flying behind me without me noticing mid-Detroit Rock City. Drumstick felt a bit weird, made it through the song... next thing I know, the tip of my drumstick is gone.

Took me a good 2 minutes to find it. A little electrical tape later, and I was back in business. :D

    Tomorrow's DLC:

    Stone Temple Pilots—“Sex Type Thing”
    Weezer—“El Scorcho”
    Garbage—“Why Do You Love Me”
(All three tracks utilize the original master recordings)

my drums broke a few weeks back and ea sent me a box to send them back in so they can replace it, but the friggin box is way too small. i guess i could locate a box that would fit these things but it seems like they could get that part right.

I'll pick up the new STP song they are one of my favorite bands. I was hoping they'd do wicked garden over Sex Type Thing but both are great songs. Heck I would love to hear Creep but I guess its too slow of a song for rockband.

Another song I would love to see is Snow, Hey Oh! by the chili peppers that song would be awesome to play.

Saw on the wiki page the Fuel by Metallica is coming out soon to DL.

I love STP so I'll take it but I'm ready for a little variety. A bunch of the songs that they have done for DLC have really sucked. I'd say the majority of them. I'm not sure if it's the fact that they only have a certain number of artists to choose from or what the deal is but I'd really like it if they mixed it up some more. I'd also like it if they did more mainstream songs. While I've found a few that I like doing that I don't know, it is hella more fun to do the songs you know and love.

Mig and I were just talking yesterday how that would be a great rock band track.

I would love to see an RHCP and a Foo Fighters pack.

    Seconded.

Personally, I want an Incubus or Green Day pack. I'd really love an Our Lady Peace pack, but that will never happen.
