ok...you've got to give some homer tips. 7 in a row, even in the sandlot is ridiculous. to get 10 in a row with no outs you just got to follow the ball in and hit it right when its in the "zone"...and just keep in mind where the fielders are...
Stand way over the mound and make a lot of foul balls. It gets harder to hit hrs when you go to larger ballparks.
Finally made it to little league. I did what you said plus I stood on home plate. I think only 2 or 3 made it pass the pitcher. Now I can't hit homers as easy as I did in the sandlot. I'm stuck trying to get 15,000. When I was trying to get the 10 hits in the sandlot I broke 30,000. Now I'm struggling to get 7000.
ditto...i've actually gotten over 14k a few times. and i was over 15k once but accidentaly hit it out, instead of just doing a stupid dribbler, so had to swing again on my last at bat, and sure enough, hit that one out too EDIT: FINALLY! 15,624!
I can't go 10 swings with out a strike or out. I hit 5 HR's in a row, then hit into a line drive out. (in sandbox). EDIT: I crowded the ball so I hit it evertime...although they were infield hits. Thankgod I'm done with that. Time for some more HR's.
You're having the same problem I was. Try standing as close to home plate as you can and swing through the top of the strike zone. You will get a bunch of dribblers for 1 or 2 points. I'm currently trying for 20,000 and I keep striking out going 3 for 10, 1 for 10 ... I need to go back to the sandlot and get my stats back up.
closest I've gotten to 20k in major league is like 17,750...I had 3 home runs. I think after the third they should have just given it to me. [ed] just got 16500...3 hrs again.
To get 10 hits, just hit on top of the ball to create grounders. I hit over 16,000 in the majors last night...still trying...
I give up. I can hit gap doubles like a madman on the 20,000, but home runs are few and far between. JUG-DISH BASE-BALL WARNING TRACK POW-ER
Huh? The easiest way to not make outs is to hit grounders--no one can catch them. I think I hit back-to-back home runs on the ML 20,000 level, but that's about it. I'll go several games without hitting one. DONE TALKING ABOUT THIS NIGHTMARE OF A GAME, GOOD-BYE THREAD
basically...you need to hit it at the tip of your bat, but on the very top of the bat. it'll get you some strikes, but you'll also launch stuff into the atmosphere.
I pwned this game up, getting 29k in the 20k match. I think I got 5 homers, two were worth 8,000 the others 4k Pick your spot and stick to it, move it up a little if its a high ball, Go for homers up the center of the park.
Finally finished! Dang man the 20,000 point level was by far the hardest, I got lucky cause I got 2 HR's with X2. Lol, it took my 888 balls and 72 HR's to finally finish this game!!
First of all, the f*ck*ng game cheats...you hit the ball over the infielder's head, hit the wall, and still get thrown out at first? Is Carlos Lee running the bases? Anyways, the final stage became a whole lot easier once I finally figured out how to pull the ball. I was sending everything opposite field, so all the outfielders were setting up in right and catching everything I hit.
after playing a bit more, some facts: stats: balls - 2100 home runs - 220 (10%) strikes - 610 (28%) best - 26194 [5 hrs I believe] now, things to add: my actual home run rate is a good bit higher now, stats are skewed from when I sucked. I hit about 2 every 10 pitches, so I'd say in truth it's closer to 18%. I hit lead off home runs, very very often. back to backs aren't rare. back to back to backs, I've done a few times. my actual high score came from going back to the world series for fun, I was at about 33,100 (5hr). my score would have been higher, but I got caught out (7 runs scored).
