Man, I'm iffy on this series. I think most Astros' fans are under estimating the Sox somewhat. Their pitching is lights out and proved it last series pitching 4 straight complete games and shutting down a pretty good Angel offense. They are streaky though. When their pitchers are on, like against the Angels, they are almost unbeatable. But, when off, watch the outfied seats. I think the key for the Astros is, of course, thier pitching and keeping Posednik and Taguchi off the bases. Otherwise, they are in trouble. Outside of them two, I think Rowand is the X factor as far as thier offense goes. He has just enough pop and enough speed to give the Astros fits. But again, they MUST keep Taguchi and ESPECIALLY Posednik off the bases. We are talking about two very streaky teams and it will come down to who is streaking upward now. Saying that, I have to give a slight edge to the 'Stros because they are coming off a big win while the Sox have been sitting for a week. That can can cause a real hiccup for a team like that. Game 1: Astros 4-2 Clemens is shaky but guts it out while Contreras has one of his off games. The Sox bullpen shuts the 'Stros down to keep it close. Game 2: Sox: 2-1 A pitching gem from both Pettitte and Buehrle. Posednik kills the 'Stros by getting a single, stealing two bases, and coming in for the winning run on a sac fly. Game 3: Astros 6-1 Oswalt is Oswalt and the offense wakes up for the first game in Houston by taking full advantage of the Crawford boxes. Game 4: Sox 5-1 Garcia pitches lights out while Backe makes a couple of mistake pitches as the Sox's offense decides to use the short wall in left as well. Game 5: Astros 5-4 Neither pitcher looks great but the 'Stros takes the lead in the 8th and hold them off. Game 6: Astros 3-1 Pettite finally breaks his non-winning streak in these playoffs and completely shuts the Sox down. Lidge closes it out. Astros take the World Series in 6. Lance Berkman is your MVP. So, now you know what's going to happen, when you think the parade will be scheduled.

hello I've waited here for you everlong and I wonder when I sing along with you if everything could ever feel this real forever if anything could ever be this good again the only thing I'll ever ask of you you've got to promise not to stop when I say when GO STROS!!!!
Well at least there won't be any films about these two teams starring Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore...so it could be worse
Most of the Sox at the beginning didn't even high five their reserves ... Guess they are just second class citizens in Chi-Town
Sox fans are pathetic... they weren't loud at all.. wait till they get to H-Town baby. We'll show them what fan support really is.
God, the crowd is SO dead in Chicago! If this game were in Houston it would be deafening the ENTIRE time.
