    It was close, but yes that was probably a ball. If you are going to base an umpires performance on 1 or 2 calls, then every umpire out there is just flat out horrible. Bottom line is that we are not losing because of the umpires.

    Why all the hate on Garner tonight? He's not the one that told Ensberg and Lamb to whiff on 90mph fastballs when all they needed was some sort of contact.

    seriously, who is this jenks guy? i play fantasy baseball somewhat intensely and i don't even know who this guy is. i thought that hermanson was their closer (is he hurt?).

    everett is our last hope, which means we have no hope.
