Wow.. if our players can't bunt.. they are pathetic. We could have had 2 runs by now and be in the lead. Where is the small ball at?

If that ****ass behind the plate knew how to call a ****ing strike zone, the Astros would be up by two or three runs right now. I'm surprised that Garner hasn't chewed him out

Garner is just as much to blame as Ensberg/Lamb/Bagwell in that inning IMO...

Not many people could catch up with those fastballs. Morgan is the goat today.

Damn. He's fast. But Bagwell is fastball hitter. He sould have been able to get 'em. He didn't even sniff the ball though. One more inning. When he slows to 98 we'll take him deep.

maybe on the most juiced radar in the big leagues. and they just said jenks has hit 102 before, so they're pretty much equal, which was my point. but at least bagwell fouled two of them off. unlike ensberg who got some sweet air against 92 mph.

I agree 100%. Bagwell for ths past couple of months has only been saying batting practice pitching. He had no chance.

Who the hell are you going to bunt with in a squeeze? Morgan or Lamb? Your percentages are a lot higher playing for a sac-fly with them.

Bobby Jenks, he's hit 102 mph regularly.

That was a major choke job by the Astros hitters. Men at first and third with 0 outs.

In reality though -- the Astros are lucky to be just down one run. Roger gave up 75% of the runs so far -- if your starter goes 2 innings -- you won't win in ANY World Series' Games.

    Bottom Line.

I don't think Bags is having a problem with bat speed. He go a couple good rips and fouls, just didn't come up with it.
Closer than Lamb and Iceberg, anyway. :(
