Sox are gettin lucky tonight. Roger goes out early w/ soreness in his hammy and gives up 3 runs because of it...and is replaced by Wandy and they only manage a run. Then we have a couple chances to put more runs up and hit some hard balls but they couldn't find the holes. I love the Astros resilience. If we don't take 'em this game, and Pettite is on tomorrow...I feel good about game 2.
how can everett screw up so many routine plays with the way he plays the rest of defense. that was as easy as it gets and he does it right after crede pulls a web gem to keep a run off the board.
Their DH is also a guy with some speed that has bunted plenty of times in his career, and that was a sac bunt situation. Ours was a situation where if he misses or pops up, the runner at 3rd is out. Completely differnt.
