Just got to find a way to push some runs across... it's not out of reach by any means.

Hmm, pitch around Pujols to get to Sanders?!?

5-0....game IS over. We'll get'em with Oswalt tomorrow.
I have confidence our hitters will wake up.
I'm not afraid of Mulder, Suppan or Morris anyway.

The Astros look like they have no passion or fire tonight.
I'm sure Garner will give them a tongue lashing.

They've got a good approach at the plate... we haven't really been able to do that so far tonight.

So do we pull Andy now before he throws too many pitches and see if he can go in game 4?

His recovery time is gonna be about the same, considering he's not going to thorw past the 6th anyways...

Got to win game 2 now...we can not rely on Brandon Backe in a must win situation.

Andy has let the team down tonight...he is better than this....Roy has to bring his "A" game.

Outside of Pujols, Edmunds and Sanders their lineup is not all that scary, in fact it seems weaker than last years.

Carpenter would have walked several Astros if they showed patience....the stros hitters seem over anxious.

    GO STROS !!!

    Game 2 is ours.

Andy could have been throwing a perfect game... it still wouldn't change the fact that we haven't scored yet.

being down 5-0 doesn't help either

I'd rather be tied through 5 then down 5-0

    But we'd be wasting a gem... ;)

Might as well save our good pitching games for the days we bring a bat or two... Carp isn't throwing every game this series.

And honestly... for some reason, the games we lost when Clemens started that he pitched poorly were MUCH easier to stomach than the 1-0 affiars.
