They will in the next episode . I was tlaking about it with a friend. Doing it right there would have been too much. Kind of like when Ned died they showed his head on a pike the next episode, they will show the wolf's head on him next time...thats why they showed them all crowding around with the crossbows to kill it.
Just got done with the episode. Mind blowing. Just awesome. Wonder if the finale next week can top this. I'm still in shock lol.
No way. This was The Event. It's obviously meant to be the emotional peak. The last episode is just there for decompression and to set up the next season. And they've followed the same pattern in the last two seasons anyway. In season 1, episode 9, Ned's head got chopped off. Season 2, episode 9 was the Battle of the Blackwater, with Stannis' ships going up in huge explosion of wildfire. This season, episode 9 was the Red Wedding. That's not to say I'm not looking forward to the final episode. It'll be interesting to see where they leave all the storylines, especially since this is the first season where they're ending in the middle of one of the books rather than the end.
Martin said he was concerned about the reaction to this episode as well. He did mention that he got letters from people after they read the Red Wedding chapter they threw their book into a fire, but then went out a bought it again a week later. People will get over it and want to see what happens.
Dude, you should spoiler that. Spoiler In the books you don't find out about that until the small council in King's Landing are discussing it post-Red Wedding
Thing about it is the people that are that upset about it...got really invested in the characters in the first place and they will be back.

I don't know anything about what happens in the future but I'm guessing Jon Snow and the Stark children will be a big part of it. I was pretty shocked about what went on last night. It was a big debbie downer. I assume there will be some payback at some point cause this is feeling kind of one-sided at the moment.
i see you try to play this fine line of telling people what you know and playing like you dont want them to know, just let people enjoy the show and resist the urge to comment, some people know you have read the books so when you comment it sort of spoilers in that sense, you were also the dude who spoiled the red wedding in season 2 thread so please stop ruining the story for those who are living it by the show and one last thing Spoiler the red wedding was more obvious in the book as danaerys seen it in the house of the undying
i would fight george rr martin over this, no joke if i seen him in the street i'd fight him for robb stark
Unbelievable how much of a jackass so many people are being in regards to spoiling information for TV viewers with information from the book. It's annoying as hell. Nobody is impressed that you know what happens next. Millions of other people do too, you're not special. I repeat, you're not special. This is not inside information. As the Dothraki like to say, "it is known". Too many Game of Thrones, Doc Rocket wannabees running around. Even Doc is cryptic! Allow people to enjoy the damn show without you ruining key moments for them. What is so hard about that? I just don't get it. At least use the freaking spoiler tag for goodness sakes. And by the way...everybody look at me...I've read all 5 books too. Crown me. King of the North!
brutal, dehumanizing, depressing the whole show is pretty much a compilation of the worst of humanity
Big maybe, maybe not. The preview for next week's episode (the last of the season ) shows the Stark banner burning at night with Arya looking on. Maybe the scene you mention'll be included or there'll be a half-measure, you know, the same fifty to sixty extras from every battle scene screaming "Aaaah!" while twenty seconds of action is filmed.
It's still on my mind. But, i must avoid this thread as usual. Theres always those guys who are so proud to tell everyone they already know whats happening bc they read the books and spoil it for you.
WOW! I was in complete shock, but looking back, it makes sense. Great episode last night...Too bad theres only one left... And I was wondering the same thing, now he and his nephew are either in on it or they have to comply with it.
I'm so glad I'm still on the second season, & watching at my leisure. Seems like everyone I know is a slave to their television because of this show. Though I'll become like the many of you once breaking bad comes back on.
