He did talk about stuff that hasn't happened yet. He referenced something about Daeneryrs' story line that jumps all the way to the end of the latest book. Definitely spoiler material.
Once an episode airs it's fair game to talk about in this thread without a spoiler tag. This has been brought up before. If you haven't seen the latest episode then you should not read this thread unless you want to be spoiled on it.
This. If there's a thread about a TV show and there an increase in activity immediately after an episode, guess what they're talking about? I think it would be ridiculous to ask people discussing an episode that's already aired to spoiler their discussion. It's more reasonable for people who haven't seen the most recent episode should episode to avoid the thread until they have. That's what I've always done. What do they think is being talked about. What are they going to contribute to the discussion? People who've read the books should use the spoiler when appropriate because it might concern things that haven't been in shown on the show yet. And of course, people who find info specifically about the show somewhere else on the internet should use spoiler tags as well. What Kaiser Soze posted wasn't a spoiler since it happened in last night's episode. However, part of one of ROXTXIA's posts could be considered a spoiler because refers to locations not yet shown or mentioned on the show yet. I've spoiler the parts of my posts that deal with the same topic. But stuff that's aired is fair game. It's different with books and movies because not everybody can be expected to see/read them as soon as it's released (I still avoid those threads). But that's not the case with TV where virtually everybody has access to it at the same time.
We have a thread for people that read the books and want to talk GoT. Please keep all the book discussions here: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=218033&page=3
Keyser Soze just posted a gif from last night's episode. I think you're talking about gamer4life's post a few pages back, which has now been edited to use the spoiler tag.
Spoiling stuff that has already happened on tv sets a bad precedent in a tv thread. Leads to people accidentally clicking into legitimate spoilers when they thought they were clicking into stuff on an already aired episode. It leads to the entire thread being spoilered as well, which is nonsense. Tv threads to me are a different animal then movie/book threads when it comes to spoilers.
A dragon that small can tear up some ****. No wonder those full sized dragons ripped Harrenhal two new assholes back in the day.
Why does one need an army with 3 dragons? Can't you just wait for them to grow and then destroy everyone?
Yea, she did very well. Superb job when she shouted those attack commands to the Unsullied and oh man do I love the way she pronounces "Dracarys". Too perfect.
Dragons can be killed too. They make it a point to emphasize that when Danny thinks she can just conquer the world. You need an army, the later books explain why with all the politics involved in war.
In my opinion, this was one of the best episodes ever. I'd say it was better than any episode all last season and up there with the great ones from season 1. This bodes well for the rest of season 3 when there are still 6 shows remaining! Im very excited now! Things are going to get really fun and interesting.
Yeah, I thought that was what everyone was complaining about. I have no problem with not spoilering stuff from an episode that just aired.
Won't work. People who've read the books love to let you know they've read the books and how it is so much better than the show.
