That was pretty clearly not her body - they did the same thing for the "shame shame" walk last season with a double.
I agree with this 100% I am having a hard time imagining anyone but the current guy as Ramsey. And I think Kit Harrington is a perfect brooding Jon Snow.
Nope. That was all Emilia Clark. Emilia Clark:“I’d like to remind people the last time I took my clothes off was season 3,” she says. “That was awhile ago. It’s now season 6. But this is all me, all proud, all strong. I’m just feeling genuinely happy I said ‘Yes.’ That ain’t no body double!”
I agree with that. If anything, her spending time with the dothraki and now winning them over again should re-orient her as far as what the *big* picture is. She wasn't making progress in Mereen (and was actually showing signs of regression). Now, things have to move forward if she realistically wants the iron throne.
He let her kill his wife because he didn't care about women. He was a true "woman as chattle" man. His anger with Ramsay (if it exists) wouldn't be about losing his daughter, it would be about the breaking of his pact with Roose Bolton that assured him an heir that would rule the North. Ramsay can't make it up to him any more than Robb Stark could, because Ramsay has to have Sansa as his bride to even control the North at all (allegedly).
I don't think people had an issue with her in Mereen because it didn't make sense that she would stay, rather it was that the story was boring and overly contrived to drag it out because you needed her delayed for a few years while you ran interesting stuff in Westeros. It hasn't helped that in the stuff she HAS had to do it's mostly been whining, self entitled declarations.
Is seriously the only thing people can talk about with that episode is whether or not it was a body double? Who really cares? I thought the Danny scene last night came off as a bit cheesy IMO. These Khal's are supposed to be some of the best warriors in the entire world. Along with that should come enough brute strength to find a way to break out of that straw hut. Also... the fire was spreading at an unbelievable rate. Unless she has magical fire spreading magic now, I thought that came off as overly gratuitous towards Danny's power. The Mereen story Knot is a big stall to avoid a time jump on other characters. This is the worst kept secret in GOT/SOIAF. I'm okay with it because there was some interesting stuff in it, but the whole way she's regained who Khalasar to me was kind of lame... but I'll forgive it if her story the rest of the way is intriguing enough.
Obviously there was some accelerant placed in the hut. It's the same hut that the ladies hang out in all the time from what I can tell.
That's what I took from it as well, also I think it was supposed to be some kind of oil fire to begin with so it would be like spilling gallons of kerosene all over the place with a lit fire. It would make a hut go up pretty quickly.
I thought it was odd how quickly the fire spread, but that's a nitpick. The EW recap I read said there was grass, but it looked more like a dirt/sand city to me, which wouldn't be conducive to spreading fire. I don't see how Team Dany would add accelerant to the Dosh Khaleen with the rest of the widows always residing there. Like I said, it's more of a nitpick in logic. The bigger problem I have is how the Khals didn't kill Dany and instead pointlessly banged on the door.
She looks chubbier this season than last and that body was pretty trim. t*** looked like hers. Maybe they filmed it early on or just touched up her stomach. She's done nudity before and claims this was her so really no reason not to believe it. Ramsay actor playing Snow doesn't work for me. It also would not work for ny wife or all the team Snow women.
Alternate rationalization: the braziers have a bowl of lamp oil at the bottom to feed the fires on a controlled burn, but when they're overturned the oil spills and all alights. The only problem I see with that theory is that they look they only only hold a charcoal fire.
I wonder if the by acquiring 100,000 Dothraki warriors she feels like she can leave the unsullied in Meeren when she goes. It has been established that the people of Meeren trust Greyworm and Missandie. I could see her choosing her Blood Riders and taking them and her Dragons to Westeros.
