Jon is a b*stard (a Targaryan and Stark b*stard but still a b*stard) so he does not have claim over Dany I don't think. Dany is also a generation older than Jon, even though they seem the same age.
I'm not too concerned for Jon. I've no doubt Theon will somehow atone for his betrayal of the Starks and probably vouch for Jon. Likewise for Tyrion who had some really good scenes with Jon from the very first episode calling him a b*stard and to wear it like armor so it can't be used against you. And then he saw what a good man Jon is at the Wall and was being trained to someday lead the Nights Watch. The Maester Aemon scene about it being lonely being the only Targaryean now has a bit of humor to it consider he was telling Jon Snow that and had a Targ right next to him.
Correction. Master Aemon told that to Sam before Jon came into the room. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hu6jzYWKhys Won't let me embed unfortunately.
so I'm only half way through but it looks like justtxyank or juicystream??? was right smack dab on the money.
That was a damn good episode. The score/music was phenomenal and drove the emotion perfectly. Focal yet subtle. Just amazing. It's always been a dream of mine to score a film. If and when that happens, and if I'm ever asked about my influence, this episode will be the first thing that I mention.
I hate to repeat my post from earlier, but I'm glad you agreed as well. The music through out this episode was fantastic. I couldn't have asked for much more for a finale. Yet still see posts (not on this site) that there was too much predictability. Unbelievable. Basically predictability in this show consists of a viewer watching 1,000 YouTube videos of "possible theories" and "1" happens to be right so it's predictable!
He's not really a b*stard according to the theory, he's the trueborn son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen who eloped. His mother died in childbirth and his father was killed in the coup.
They did the cercei stuff all wrong in the show. but w.e, that's what GRRM's stupid ass gets for spending this long.
Pretty spot on. I love watching shows like this though just to read those crackpot theories as each week passes though. Similar experience when the first season of True Detective came out. I loved reading all the speculation of what was going to happen next and all these elaborate theories as to who the real killers were. Makes the show more fun. In it's own way the waiting makes it better than marathoning all the seasons in a short time span.
lmao for sure someone bound to predict some parts correctly, and it sucks for them i just enjoy the episodes and this one was special.
Good luck to you. I admire fellow artists (well, I should be one, but we'll let that pass). I also like the score to the film "The Last of the Mohicans", which drove the plot well, and the score to the Rohan scenes in "The Two Towers", as it lent a medieval air. In any case, this episode was freaking awesome.
Series Finale, Everyone including the white walkers are killed off, as Lady Mormount stands above all the bodies.
A b*stard was just named King of the north over his supposed half sister. The show has not revealed yet if Rheagor and Lyanna secretly wed, which would legitimize Jon. We just know they are the parents of Jon.
That episode was pure domination. In some/many ways the best ever?? So many story-lines, each one so perfectly done. So much action. It benefitted from being at the exact right point in the story... But it could have been screwed up or at least not done so magnificently. Nitpick away! (Well it did feel just a tiny wee bit rushed...!!).
He told Jon in season one when Jon was considering leaving the nights watch to fight with Rob after Ned was taken prisoner.
I'm gonna claim to know (or care) about Westeros Law, but can you elope if your already married? doesn't that null the new marriage making Jon still a b*stard?
Now THAT is how you end a season! Wow Dany is technically Jon's aunt and full blood so not sure how that changes succession.
