definitely the most uniquely directed episode in GoT. felt very different. The music playing the entire first 20 minutes. laughed a bit at this: Spoiler
Nice setup episode for next season. Arya's storyline doesn't make any sense though: She rejected the many face god. As I recall, she walked out on her mentor. How can she now use those powers? Makes no sense.
The music through out the show was amazing. Lol @ Lady Mormont being like "You're a coward, and you're a coward, and you're a coward." Really hope she sticks around for at least small scene opportunities.
They are not magical powers, they are skills that she has learned over a couple of years. How could she just forget them.
Maybe she learned the skill? But refused to join their little one man cult or whatever. I don't know, but I did enjoy the way she killed him, and his sons.
So Jon is technically the heir to the throne right? What does Dany do with that info and who do I root for between Tyrion and Snow. Ah too much good stuff Game of Thrones.
The way its portrayed in the show, the ability to change your face seems like a magical power that the many face god gave to his followers. I mean if it's a "skill" that you learn like archery, then why is there a god for it then...
The faces are prepared after the body is dead. They showed multiple times in the series where Arya or the Waif prepared the bodies and or cut off the faces. Its a skill
