I think it still would be heads above Transformers, for one they still talk a lot (Still a TV series) although the quality of those dialogues declined but there are still some gems. I think you can't kill the NK heads on, I think there is a ruse of some sorts to kill him off. A theory. And there is the big ruse of Cersei who salivates to betray someone or everyone for that matter among the last living.
Also found this, this morning: http://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/news/‘g...he-wall’/ar-AAquZxp?li=BBnbfcL&ocid=DELLDHP17 After the episode aired, fans vented frustrations online that Gendry running back to Eastwatch, sending a raven to Daenerys, and Daenerys arriving to save the day with her dragons all happened far too quickly. Alan Taylor, who directed “Beyond the Wall,” explained how the production team approached the timeline during filming. “We were aware that timing was getting a little hazy,” Taylor told Variety. “We’ve got Gendry running back, ravens flying a certain distance, dragons having to fly back a certain distance…In terms of the emotional experience, [Jon and company] sort of spent one dark night on the island in terms of storytelling moments. We tried to hedge it a little bit with the eternal twilight up there north of The Wall. I think there was some effort to fudge the timeline a little bit by not declaring exactly how long we were there. I think that worked for some people, for other people it didn’t. They seemed to be very concerned about how fast a raven can fly but there’s a thing called plausible impossibilities, which is what you try to achieve, rather than impossible plausibilities. So I think we were straining plausibility a little bit, but I hope the story’s momentum carries over some of that stuff.” “It’s cool that the show is so important to so many people that it’s being scrutinized so thoroughly,” he continued. “If the show was struggling, I’d be worried about those concerns, but the show seems to be doing pretty well so it’s OK to have people with those concerns.” So is this plausibly possible or impossibly plausible... whatever tf that means. Me thinks Alan is just f**in with our intelligence.
Lmao I think certain people needed to see that the party spent the night...... Dark sky....Shuteye....well not in front of this dead army. lol That must be one of her best pics
Awesome idea, fba34. With the finale approaching, let's post something we loved about the season, like GARM tradition prior to the playoffs. Here's fba34's starter list, bend the knee to the show with your humble offerings Jon offering Longclaw to Jorah, and Jorah wanting it but declined because bro felt he wasnt worthy the citadel/Hogwarts. I liked the montage with Sam cleaning poo and the food Arya's return to Winterfell and the exchange with the guards, and Sansa realizing it was her sister from the guards description The shots in the snow was beautiful last episode Greyworm nipples. Missandei too. Jaime butt I always like scenes with Davos, Yara, Bronn Jaime beating Tyrion at the war strategies. We're conditioned to think Tyrion would be the master at this before the war started Dinklage's acting of Tyrion reasoning of killing their father to Jaime hp: Emilia Clark is having her best season. I almost teared up in the last J + D scene.
I really like Beric. The actor playing him had done a good job. He's like a philosopher which makes him standout from everyone else in the group who's a warrior. He has some of the best lines in the last episode, like when he was saying that death's the enemy, and the enemy always wins but we must still fight. He's got a good voice too.
So this Sunday will be my first time watching it online live. I have an HBO subscription with my Xfinity package. So I'm guessing I can just log in to HBO GO and watch it live from there?
Yeah. Go log in now, as it will ask you for xfinity credentialls, so get that out of the way. Should remember you after that. Also, online will just play on-demand, "Live" or a little late.
Ok cool. That's what I was hoping. I just registered and watched the last episode again and all was well.
I really like the current Baric Dondarion actor. He comes better than the original one from season 1.
Just saw this but I think the Nights King and the White Walkers (not the wights) have shown the ability to walk right through fire. They did it during the Hodor episode in season 6 and then it appeared they did it again during this episode. Perhaps I'm wrong but I don't think Dragon Fire will automatically kill the Nights King.
Poor Rhaegal had the shot, but didn't take it. He was Viserion's wing man and followed him all the way to his death, then flew over the Night King. I suppose he was so shocked he froze. Poor Rhaegal. Drogon is probably b****ing him out for not taking the shot when he had the chance. "I'm busy over here helping mommy, and you just watch him die and do nothing but cry in a fly-by. Wuss. You had them." @crash5179 is correct that it isn't clear whether Fire can kill a WW though. They certainly aren't highly flammable like wights. But I bet Brienne in armor can walk through that fire too, yet be torched by a dragon. 2000 degree Dragon flame is a wee bit different than walking over an open flame.
Hodor was a tougher one I think just because of his innocence. Oberyn was still the most pissed I've been about any character dying.
