About Sansa & Littlefinger's conversation Spoiler anyone else a little disappointed that they made it obvious that Littlefinger will be the one to arrange her escape? I think it would be better if it were left a surprise, especially since they went through the trouble of introducing Ser Dontos
Spoiler Ser Dontos was merely a way to further show how much of a d1ck Joffrey is. It's not like they showed him meeting with Sansa in the gardens at night. Having him help Sansa would not have added anything to the show.
Either way, Spoiler I would have rather had Littlefinger disappear and then when everybody forgets about him, bam he "saves" Sansa than everyone knowing all along.
Spoiler Personally, I think he's going to try and marry her. Couldn't get the mother so he's after 2nd best now. But then again, every other prediction I've had has been 100% incorrect so... lol
I don't want to see anything that could... Well, spoil it for me. Plus I have no idea what I'm talking about and just speculating, I only used the spoilers because everyone else was. shrug...
Im 90% sure i've figured out Jon Snow's parents... Spoiler Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark Im pretty sure thats a widely held belief...
I'm sure others have come up with this but the title of the series "song of ice and fire" I think refer to Jon Snow and Dany. I think those two characters are going to some how intertwine.
No need of a spoiler, since it's just speculation. I suspected from day one that Lyanna Stark was Jon's mother. Ned being so honorable, the fact that it's pointed out that Jon looks more like a Stark than any of the other children
Interesting. Spoiler If you have not completed the book . . stop here Spoiler I think They also introduce another Traegaryn. Evidently Raegar's son I beleive . . in the Tyrion stories. In the end i don't think any of the 'great houses' will be completely destroyed. The question is which two will SIT THE IRON Throne If Dany and Jon Snow - potentially Traegaryan/Stark/(Baranthian?) With Tyrion and Sansa at The Aery and Casterly Rock [they are still married] Arya - the new Varys of course that leaves Dorn The New Traegaryan could marry the Daugher or one of the Sand Snakes The Tulleys on the outside looking in . . . but connected to Casterly Rock via Tomin [joffrey's little brother] just speculation . . . Rocket River
oops I thought this was the BOOK/Spoiler THREAD. . . . Super Spoilers in there DO NOT CLICK! Rocket River Sorry once again
Ya you pick up on A HUGE amount of history from when before the show starts and you gain so much more in terms of character developement.
If you start with Clash of Kings, you'll actually be okay because Season 1 follows the book very, very closely. But there are some key scenes that foreshadow future events that you'll miss, as well as some details that got cut. Season 2 had to cut some really great stuff. Definitely don't skip Clash. But I would start from the beginning.
