I think I know why. Only click the spoiler tag if you've read the books. Spoiler Over on Westeros.org they have pictures of stuff recorded from season 1 that didn't appear in the final version. They were of Ned's father's execution by The Mad King. It appears that Bean will be playing the part of Ned's father in the flashback. My guess is that it is when Jaime is incarcerated in the black cells and he tells Catelyn the truth of what went down. But who knows...
Just finished watching the first season and Damn, I love this show...So many twists, turns and boobs, can't wait for Season 2 to start...
Davos doesn't look like I imagined but neither does just about anyone else. Not a problem for me. I like that Tyrion does not look as deformed as he is described in the books and I like that they aged the Stark kids by 3 years for the series. So while there are differences I generally like them. In one of the interviews with GRRM he seems to have no issues with the differences either. All things considered they seem to be holding true to the story and even keeping much of the same dialog that is in the books. I don't know if anyone has watched True Blood but HBO really changed a ton from those books to the series so it was really nice to see them stay as true to GoT.

That was made of made of pure win. I mean, you do hate to rush Martin, because everyone has his own process, but dang... five years to write the fourth book, and six years to write the fifth. At one point he actually said on his blog that he was "not going to 'do a Robert Jordan'" on us, but seriously... the guy is not getting any younger. If he dies before the series ends I'm going to have to travel to his grave and kill him again.

They are all individually watermarked so it can be tracked, critic would be in legal trouble and their career would be seriously damaged.
I was through episode 7 of season 1 and talking to my buddy on facebook about it and he goes "Yeah I was pretty stunned when Spoiler Sean Bean died" I hate spoilers.
That sucks, did he know you were only 7 episodes in? You probably want to avoid this thread until after your done at least, and definitely don't click on any of the stuff tagged spoilers.
