Good advice. You should have plenty of time to read book 1 and book 2 before the start of the next season, and still be able to read your People Magazine. ;-)-
Quick question regarding the Theon preview for Clash of Kings at the end of the Game of Thrones book. Where does this occur in Clash of Kings? I've read the first few chapters and thumbed through the book some and couldn't find it...
Figured I'd post some of the most recent casting updates: Asha Greyjoy: Gemma Whelan Spoiler Xaro Xhoan Daxos: Nonzo Anozie Spoiler Dolorous Edd: Ben Crompton Spoiler Jaqen H'ghar: Tom Wlaschiha Spoiler Gilly: Hannah Murray Spoiler Roose Bolton: Michael McElhatton Spoiler Head Pyromancer Wisdom Hallyne: Roy Dotrice Spoiler (Dotrice narrated all of the audiobooks except for AFFC, and was originally going to play Pycelle) Apparently they're changing Asha's name to Yara so she isn't confused for Osha the wildling. They also have Karl Davies playing "Alton Lannister", a character that doesn't appear in the books. Not sure what his role is going to be.
Another Skins alumnus on the roster. First Chris now Cassie. Watching those first 2 seasons of Skins, I thought Hannah Murray and Joe Dempsie would have bigger careers. I also haven't read the books so I don't know how big their respective roles (Gilly, Gendry) are going to be in the future of GoT.
Some more casting news: Robert Pugh is Craster Oona Chaplin is Jeyne Westerling Sounds like the only significant roles yet to be filled are Ramsay Snow, Qhorin Halfhand, the Reed kids and Ser Dontos.

And that's without giving him the "All dwarfs may be bastards" line, one of Tyrion's best in Game of Thrones. Would've been a lock if so.
According to the interwebz... Spoiler Ned's last word was, "Baelor." During his execution, Arya was watching while hiding behind a statue depicting Baelor, a former Targaryen King. Many believe that he spotted Arya before he was executed and pointed her location out to a night's watch recruiter. The recruiter (Yoren?) then went and grabbed Arya before she could see her father get beheaded.
