    This. Zombies = Wights. White Walkers and Others are the same thing, it's just that the wildlings use the first term while the Night's Watch and the rest of Westeros uses the 2nd one.

    So wights have been what we've met so far. Small Paul and his hand that went to Kings Landing was a wight? The things that killed Will in the GoT prologue were white walkers, and maybe Coldhands is an other?

    The wights are regular people who were killed by/near the others/white walkers. Sam killed an other/white walker, the prologue featured them. They are a completely different race, and considering Cold Hands is dressed as a member of the Night's Watch I think it is unlikely that he is one. Especially if he is Benjen as some have theorized. Though how he has free will still, and a mind if he is a wight is unknown.

    I would suspect someone is controlling him. Maybe a greenseer (ala Bran/Hodor).

    I thought the same at first, thinking it was Bloodraven\three eye crow (who I think has played a much bigger role than we know), but coldhands seems to have free will and it sounded like someone ordered him to take Bran to the three eye crow.

    Since we have a ways to wait, and because I'm drunk, I'm gonna have some fun with this thread.

    Jaime says that there are three guys in Westeros who could take him in a fight. Who do you think could possibly beat him (and not necessarily the guys HE has in mind)?

    I'm thinking Barristan on a good day would have a chance. A sober Hound as long as there's no fire involved, the Red Viper, the Mountain, and maybe Bronn.

    I don't personally think either of the Tyrell boys could take him. And I think he would have beaten Brienne if he was at full strength and wasn't shackled.

    I think Bariston Selmy with out a doubt. The Red Viper and the Mountain. I don't think Both Bron and the Hound could give him a hell of a fight.

    Garlan Tyrell could easily beat him.

    Strong Belwas would win too (but you limited it to Westeros).

    I wouldn't say he could easily beat him, Barristan described Jamie as the best natural swordsman he has ever seen.

    I really hope they do Oberyn justice, he's just so badass. But I don't think Jaime would revere him. The Red Viper's known for poison, and at least in the 6 other kingdoms, poison is regarded as cowardly, or a woman's way of killing.

    Selmy and the Cleganes are definitely in there. Areo Hotah too, since he's already got one kingsguard down.

    He could not beat the Hound or the Mountain so I doubt he could beat Jamie... but at least he would live to tell about the battle.... sort of.
