Great win, Cowboys are by FAR the best team in the NFC, and they are lot better than when they played the Patriots earlier in the yr. Lets not forget they had the lead in the 3rd quarter, and the Pats simply pulled away. The Cowboys had a ton of penalties in that game, were missing Ellis, Tank Johnson, and Newman was just coming back, and also I dont think they had a very good offensive gameplan in that one.

I think the Cowboys are the 2nd best team in football, and when they play the Pats in the SB, it'll be closer than people think

I never said that the Packers weren't a good team...I just said not to get too excited about thrashing a bad team. Do you hear me going off about beating the crap out of the Rams, Bears, or Eagles?

lol, are you guaranteeing the Packers will win? cause that's just as arrogant and close-minded as the Cowboys fans you're talking against

It seems you are making a generalization. I'm a Cowboys fan and I respect Green Bay as a football team. They have the same record we do. They didn't get there by being chumps. It should be a great game.

I don't think anyone knows for sure. Last I read, it seems like they're still trying to figure out a timetable for him. He apparently hasn't done any running yet IIRC, so it might still be another couple of weeks at the earliest if he does make it back.

They're both playing on Turkey day. Pack v. Lions at noon. Then Cowboys v. Jets at 3:15.

i never came out talking any kind of crap. all i said was cowboys fans need to acknowledge the packers since both teams have the same record. it seems like most cowboys fans make these 'the cowboys are far and away the best team in the nfc' and completley disregard the packers. neither team has the right to say they are better--theyve had nearly the same schedule. as a packer fan, i think that dallas and green bay are the class of the nfc, no question. cowboys fans (not all of course) seem to think they have the nfc wrapped up and they continually disregard that they are not the only 8-1 team.

that's why i said 'if the packers win'. i dont see any guarantee in there. i think it's going to be a great game and i hope the better team wins. if dallas wins, THEN cowboys fans can say they are the best team in the nfc. just respect your opponents. all i'm hearing is

and i know this is a texas board and i'm heavily outnumbered, but give some respect where it is due. oh wait, the packers only beat the vikings though, so this clearly shows they are the lesser team.

by the way this is nothing personal against anyone here or anything--its just sports talk--so yall dont need to get offended or take it personal or anything. this doesnt need to escalate into a dumb message board fight :D

see you in a couple weeks.

Great game...The Romo TO combo is pretty exciting to watch...and TO's interview after the game showed how he's, dare I say, maturing...Plus, he never gets any calls, which is total BS...

Well, the cowboys packers game will be great to watch...The packers are good, but the cowboys are soo much better...We'll see in three weeks...

Penalties and cowboys screw the Giants,
    3 delay of game
2 holding (one for a TD, and one for a excellent kickoff return)

    Dallas played well,

The game started at 6:15 AM here (Perth) so I dont know if I was just tired but I literally laughed out loud when Eli was getting those delay of game penalties. Thank god hes not my team's starting quarterback.

Another big lol goes to patrick crayton for placing the ball on the goal line for a touchdown. imagine if he had done that in the Bill Parcells era

In the other ****-that-wouldnt-fly-with-bill category we have kevin burnett. That was one of the dumber things I have ever seen happen to the Cowboys, and thats coming from ten years of not missing but a couple of games.

I want to sex tony romo. (ps wheres that matt schaub or tony romo thread? I need another good chuckle)

Jason Witten was pretty much shut down. too bad the giants didnt cover anyone else

Jacobs had some good runs but failed to break the 100 yard mark

    T O is pretty good.

my prediction was a little off but no complaints here : we're 8-1 !

No offense to Dallas fans but who have they really played that is even decent? The Giants are the same way, they have played nobody decent. They played the Patriots but they got throttled by them. I mean they are 8-1 but the combined record of their opponents minus the Patriots and the Giants is a paltry 14-31 and even if you had the Patriots and Giants to that mix it only improves to 29-34.
