This is a "must see" game and it'll be tough...too bad I'll be on a f'n airplane...I schedule my flight months ago and didn't check the times...

    Cowboys: 38

    Pats: 35

My gut says the Pats will win, but that win last night will give us some momentum and confidence...Never give up attitude....

I thinking it'll be like the Cowboys-Colts game last year. It'll come down to the wire with hometown team hopefully pulling one out again.

5th time in history that 2 nfl teams have played 5-0 or better.

sounds like a pretty good game to me.

Like I said, "Game of the Century"! Name another matchup since 2000 that is even close as a big-time matchup. Two great historic franchises with a combined 8 Super Bowl titles at 5-0 a piece. Doesn't get any better.

Pretty much any regular season Pats-Colts game would suffice here.

I'm pulling for the Cowboys (I actually like their -team- this year), but I hope, for fantasy football sake, that Randy Moss and Sammy Morris have big games. :D

LOL...this matchup doesn't even have the 2 best teams in the league.

the Cowboys are a very good team, but this isn't even the game of the year.

Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots will be the game of the regular season.

This is probably the biggest game since Superbowl XXIII.

I absolutely can't wait for this epic matchup. My 2 favorite teams besides the Texans. Colts-Patriots is an equally epic matchup, but we see it at least once a yr and the colts are boring IMO. Romo and the Cowboys are alot better than they showed last night and the Patriots are one of the best teams ever put together. I think the Patriots win a close high scoring game, and they'll meet again in Glendale in February.

BTW, how the hell did NBC not get this game??? Saints v Seahawks???? I dont think NBC got the Colts/Patriots game either.

You what's going to be funny is players, coaches and fans of the team that loses will say "this was only one game out of the season and not even in our own division so it doesn't matter that much."

I'll never understand how people are die hard Rocket and Astro fans but call themselves Dallas Cowboy fans I just dont get it. How does it happen?

Heck I grew up in the Aikman and Emmitt ERA but **** them give me my Cody Carlason jersey. It's Houston or nothing. I blame the parents

How about this, you don't move to Houston until after you are in your early 20's, long after your lifelong devotion to a team is formed. That's how.

I will say this though - I went to college in Dallas (University of Dallas), and I became a Mavs fan then. This was right after they entered the league as an expansion team, and they were always the underdogs. Then they started picking up people like Rolando Blackmon, Derek harper, Sam Perkins, Shrempf, Dale Ellis, Mark Aguirre (one of my all-time favorites), Pat Cummings, heck even Roy Tarpley was a monster, too bad he loved the nose candy.. :(

Anyway, I really liked THAT team. And the owner at the time was not a moron.

But now, I can't stand that team, I think Cuban is a world-class dork, I freaking HATE jason terry, Dirk, Howard, and all of that bunch. Only guy there worth anything is their coach.

I am Rockets all the way, baby.

    So see, affiliations CAN change.

But I was not BORN into being a Mavs fan, they didn't even come into existence until I was 18 or so. I was born into being a Cowboys fan, and I have suffered through all of the miserable times (misery which makes the early struggles of the Texans look like a cakewalk) and the triumphs. People forget, for a long long time, Landry was the 'Coach Who Couldn't Win the Big One'. When it finally came, it was wonderful.

We destroy the Dolphins and the Broncos in SB's. We have epic, epic battles with the Steelers, and come up short. 'The Catch'. Staubach going street on the Rams. The Bears absolutely destroying us in their championship run. Danny White playing with a broken wrist, so you never knew where the ball was going to go. 'Hail Mary'. Dorsett's 99-yard run from scrimmage. 'No, Danny, No!' Murchison giving up the ghost. Bum Bright owning the team for a little while. Seeing an Arkansas oil man buy the team, Landry fired?? 1-15. Having to listen to everyone talk about your team being such a joke. Jimmy Johnson taking his licks and building a powerhouse. The 90's dynasty. 3 SB's in 4 years. Hanging 52 on the Bills. JJ and JJ falling out, the beginning of the end of that era. The 'Dark Times' before Parcells. And now, slowly but surely emerging from that pit to be good again, maybe very good.

    Those are just off-the-top-of-my-head memories.

So, what, do you think I should just abandon all that, simply because I live in Houston now? I have already mentioned that I support the Texans too, supported the Oilers also.

I don't get it. If you move to Indy, are you going to become a Colts fan? If you move to Dallas, you going to be a Mavs fan? If you relocate to Pittburgh, you gonna cheer for the Steelers? You naturally going to become a Spurs fan if you have to move to San Antonio? Or that only a one-way street, where you get to criticize someone for loving the team they have loved all their life, if they now live in Houston, but if you moved to another city, it would be perfectly acceptable to continue to love the Rockets?

Come on. How many members of this very board are die-hard Rockets fans and don't even live in Houston?

It's just silly and juvenile when people make comments like yours.

I will never stop loving the teams I love, and I will never apologize for it either. And neither should you, if some day you find yourself being a Houston fan living in a different city.

Dallas wasn't the only one that had notable...or infamous convicts.....or let's used the more "politically correct" term....players "rough on the edges."

The Old Raiders, L.T. with the Giants, a few Redskins, and we can go on all day.

You need warriors to win, not saints.

To bad you couldn't draft O.J or Rae Carruth then. They would have fit right in. True warriors!

I would love to see an all Texas Super Bowl. I would enjoy the game for the love of seeing two Texas teams in the big dance. I may follow the Cowboys, but I support both the Cowboys and Texans. You know, it's real funny that I find it's not the team I can't stand, but the obnoxious fans.
