Backe can drive you crazy sometimes... his stuff looks electric today, but he has the momentary lapses of control.

Unlike much of the regular season, however, he was able to avoid a "big inning" by re-finding the strike zone just in time. I guess he just needs the pressure sometimes... pressure of a NLCS game makes him better, pitching with guys on base makes him better (but, I wish he didn't do it).
