I think we could get a wild pitch. I'm all for bunting him to third.

Hell, get the Texan's cheerleaders to dance behind home plate, in the stands, and distract that pitcher! Then the Texan's would be contributing something worthwhile. :(

Why? I don't think its quite that easy of an answer. Mo is struggling, but you move him lower in the order you more than likely shatter his confidence even more.

I like this idea a lot better. That might take a lot of pressure off of Ensberg being in the cleanup spot. Plus pitchers would have to throw strikes to him w/ Berkman behind him.

Yay...a 2 out triple by Posednik. Luckily he doesn't come home.

    Backe with 3 scoreless innings.

Come on bats! COME TO LIFE ALREADY!

    LETS GO STROS!

For pathetic see the St. Louis Cardinals last year. This performance by our guys (aside from 8-14th innings last night) has been far from it. A couple breaks go our way we are easily up 3-0 or 2-1.

I will agree that aside from the Bidge and Lamb hits, and Backe's work...the rest of the team looks tentative and ready to give in...please wake up guys..go down fighting.

I wonder what we could do with a lead off home run. We may still not get him in.

man i can't believe garner ripped these guys, they're so effing clutch. lamb almost had to move after that leadoff double.

and everett went for good ol' option C after back to back option A's from the other guys. beautiful. they just don't stray from those options.

at least we're pitching a shutout, which just means the white sox are about to light us up.

No Crawford love this series. It's a lot of innings too, for only the start of the second game at the park.

Okay, just drank my first miller of the night.

And have 5 more in the fridge.

    Time to become positive again.

I'm sounding like a negative ass because I am pissed off at the stros. They kept me up so late, I'm tired as hell right now. And probably didn't do too well on my exam this morning.

    Go stros.

This team looks different. They have been incredibly resilient this whole season. But right now I almost sense a feeling of resignation among them. They just need a run or something to get some life back.
