Now even the fans are giving in to the White Sox. If it's in the stands, you have every right to that ball.

:) Thanks for the memories Astros! I still can't believe we actually made it here. After such a horrid start, and to be in the WS?! Amazing. Hell, our offense was gawd aweful when we played the Cardinals, and yet some how we man handled them to a 4-2 series win. Too bad we couldn't win a game in the WS, but atleast we got out first pennant.

    ~~ 2005 National League Champions Houston Astros!~~

Hope we get some real bats for next season to help out the pitching. We needed those badley this season, just like the Rockets needed a PF this past season of NBA playoffs.

Well, time to switch sports. Back the the NBA I go and into the CF.net chat room to follow the Rockets. My fingers have had a long break. Time for me to go back and do NBA PBP for the Rockets games.

    Good night all. I'm out.

Thanks Stros. Sleep tight Lidge, you can regain your composure in 5months.

Once again. LATER DUDES! Been another fun year to chat with the True Astros fans in this forum. You know who you are, the guys who never really gave up on the team. Cheers to the optimists.

Nice season Stros ... Best ever for Houston. It seems like we have to take it one step at a time as we never win a round in the playoffs the first time we get there.

    Lets Go Rockets!

    Well....there it goes...

    GO ROCKETS !!!

And a plea....please Astros....go get some better hitters......you let your quality pitchers hang out to dry in this world series. 19 straight scoreless innings?

Tough to get it done without scoring.

Well, I'll say it for the first time (even though many of you have already said it... MULTIPLE times each)...

    Season over.

He wasn't. I just watched it 2 times in slo-mo on the TiVO.

EDIT: Speaking of the TiVO, watching the 9th of Game 4 of the NLDS right now. Got to go to bed with a good memory in my head.

Remember Backe warming up Ausmus' bat in the 9th?
