NO kidding man. Andy Pettitte instead of Pete Munro?! Man. What could have been I guess.

Wish we could get a run though. Been a LONNNNNNNNNG time since we last scored. Like a virgin.

Figures though, that the stros might be shut out to finish this season in a season that they have been shut out so many times.

18 straight innings without scoring ... It's amazing we got this far. At least the Stros were able to carry us all the way to the NBA regular season. Great season, but a pretty embarassing way to go out.

You know what is sad -- if we assume that the Astros were destined to lose this series, why couldn't they have at least won two games so that when Chicago wins, they would do it in front of their fans . . .

Good to see you FINALLY agree that the Front Office botched the off-season. About time.

Wagner blew a lot of big games for us too. I think Qualls has a future as a closer if Lidge is done. He's young and has great stuff.

Also, I wouldn't give up on Lidge just yet. He just may be overworked.

Another bat couldn't change the fact that Clemens got injured in game 1, couldn't change the fact that we blew a 4-2 lead in game 2 and a 4-0 lead in game 3 and couldn't change any of the other breaks that went against us this series. And another bat might not have helped tonight with our backs against the wall and the whole team looking just tentative and resigned. Do we need another bat, could we have used another bat, yes. Would it have changed the outcome of this series. The way the Sox have been playing my guess is no. After all we beat a great Cardinals team with the same lineup. We just ran into an even better White Sox club.

Exactly on Wagner .. if he hadn't given up the homer to Biggio we would have never even been in the playoffs. I'm sure Philly is feeling as bad or worse about their closer than us.

When you take a championship caliber team and make it into a World Series swept team, you botched it.
