Garner managed by the seat of his pants all season and it worked, the only thing he could have done differently in this series was get Burke a bit more ABs. The Astros simply choked and folded under the pressure....Lidge in particular, it will be interesting to see if he can get that swagger back, his post season was simply devestating to the team. However, you still have to blame the offense....we can't score one ****ING run...not one? That is putting far too much pressure on our offense. Got to upgrade the offense this off season, and HOPE that Roger is pissed and comes back. DD
we have the top of our lineup due up, and yet i have no faith in them whatsoever..... how sad is that? what happened to this team?

the white sox basically get like 2 shots all day, and have them with 2 outs, and they come throught. we get a million chances with no outs and don't score. **** that. time for biggio to go down looking, willy down swinging, lance to get walked, and then garner just forfeits ensberg's at bat.
Maybe this series will make Drayton give Purpura the cash to go pick up some real bats this offseason.
