If so then the Astros still scored more and allowed fewer runs than the Cards.

No doubt...Backe has a better chance of jacking one out than Bags at this point....why go to an overworked bullpen?

Well, at least it is Lidge......let's hope he has Backe's slider tonight.

    :)

IF you are going to pull Backe with 2 outs you should bring in Burke. Bagwell can NOT hit HR. Shoulder is not strong enough.

Man, you guys criticize Garner for no making moves and for making moves. Why don't you try and be positive? Its a tie ballgame for cryin' out loud. Backe got out of last inning but gave up two shots, one of which could have been the end.

oh well.. I don't have faith in the relievers.. Backe was on fire. This sucks. This is like open heart surgery without anesthetics.

i can't even get mad at this anymore

    there's just no point

we fail to score inning after inning , and we've got a scoreless streak of now 13 STRAIGHT innings.

Backe not happy to be taken out. You see him pacing back and forth in the dugout? Didn't look too happy.

    damnit.

Our offense is just really bad...I am fairly certain the Sisters of the poor could hit better than our team right now.

Great, scoreless game, no hitting, and they bring in the closer with a broken spirit...

I can't watch this game anymore. I just feel like a loss is inevitable. Too much stress.
