    actually...unless i heard wrong..the guy who would bat after sanders??

    not necessarily.

    but since sanders has made contact against lidge less times than pujols has gotten a hit against him, i'd take my chances with that. as opposed to pitching to the best hitter in the game.

    I gave logical reasons.

    And, with Pujols at bat, our concerns should be less about the tying run and more about the winning run.

    You guys get so wrapped up with the tying run, that your strategy risks losing the game. A classic Astros mistake.
